D & D Mini-Ranch
Arizona Working Aussies has secured the D & D Mini-Ranch for their upcoming stockdog trial season! The D & D Mini-Ranch has all the elements of the top stockdog trialing facilities we’ve attended, and it’s located right here in Queen Creek, Arizona. The property features three medium sized arenas (1) 96’ x 85’, (2) 160’ x 266’, (3) 160’ x 266’ for stockdog trialing, an 80’ x 16’ grass shaded spectator viewing area (entire spectator area is 130’ x 25’), inclusive of multiple dog baths and automatic waters. This thoughtful layout ensures a seamless experience, allowing spectators to enjoy every moment of the exciting action in all three arenas without missing any of the details. The shaded grass alleyway between the two arenas, where we conduct the cattle and sheep trials, provides an ideal space for our judges to oversee and manage the events. We are excited to announce that it serves as an ideal venue for our stockdog trials. With premium facilities and a perfect year-round location, it promises to enhance the experience for participants and spectators alike.
Why Our Club Stands Out
-
Arizona is a popular destination for many, especially during the winter season.
-
We have the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert, saguaro cactus, roadrunners, rattlesnakes and the grand canyon.
-
We experience well over 300 days of sunshine every year, that's more than the Hawaiian Islands who average around 239 days of sunshine each year!
-
Arizona is know for it's incredible one-of-a-kind sunsets and beautiful desert landscapes.
-
A wide array of outdoor recreational activities; golf, hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, water sports (yes we have lakes and rivers), and mountain biking.
Set aside additional time for a leisurely drive through the picturesque desert. Revel in the sensation of the earth beneath your feet and immerse yourself in the pristine nature surrounding you to experience the remarkable healing properties of the Sonoran Desert.
REMINDER
-
During the summer months temperatures can reach up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit - make sure you stay hydrated, protect your skin with a light shirt and/or sunscreen.
-
Evenings can get a bit cool throughout the year - we recommend always packing a sweater or jacket.
